McAlpine House has two authentic Pearlers rooms dating from the turn of the century situated close to the pool and surrounded by a shady latticed verandah.

The two Library rooms are both upstairs; their wrap-around library balcony offers a lovely aspect of the home.

The McAlpine suite takes you to another place in history, with its 19th century four poster bed, unique timberwork and latticed, enclosed poolside verandah.

All are tastefully furnished with Javanese furniture and named after Lord McAlpine's favourite birds, some of which still reside in their garden.

New additions to their family of rooms are the Garden Suites.

Facilities in their hotel include a guest use gourmet kitchen, 24 hour liquor licence and bar, restaurant catering, swimming pool, library, laundry, BBQ facilities, security parking and Chinese tea house, all in a tropical garden setting.
