Orpheus Island will not disappoint you if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with great food, not many people and true privacy. The island is located off the coast off the coast of Queensland just north of Townsville. It is accessed by seaplane from Townsville and there are regular flights from all major Australian airports. Orpheus Island is truly beautiful with hills covered with Australian eucalypt forests which provide great bushwalking to lookouts with sensational views. There is also a coral reef just off the shore so it is possible to snorkel and dive from the resort itself.

Orpheus is about indulging the senses. The degustation menu is superb and enjoyed in an open restaurant right on the beach front.
