Blast along the Mooloolaba coastline on a 12-metre RIB powered by twin 500hp engines, spotting sea turtles at Mudjimba Island along the way. This 1-hour high-speed run keeps groups to 20 people maximum, so you'll actually hear the skipper's commentary over the roar of the motors. What to expect

You'll board a rigid-hulled speedboat and immediately feel the engines pick up. Expect sustained speed along the coastline—exhilarating but not reckless. The skipper points out headlands, beaches, and lighthouse positions whilst explaining local geography and marine life. The real appeal is Mudjimba Island: you'll slow down here and watch for turtles surfacing or moving through shallow water. Sightings aren't guaranteed, but conditions usually favour spotting. Bring a decent camera with a zoom and wear sunscreen; there's minimal shade on deck.
