About this tour
Track orcas and sperm whales at Bremer Bay, a deep-water congregation point off Western Australia's south coast. This 8-hour boat expedition departs from the small township roughly five hours south-east of Perth and runs January through March, when apex predators gather at the continental shelf edge. You'll ride with a naturalist guide, spot multiple cetacean species, and return with professional photographs and full meals included.

What to expect
Expect an early start and extended time on open water. The boat heads to the edge of the continental shelf where water depth and cold currents attract hunting marine predators. Sightings are never guaranteed—you're watching wild animals in their element—but the setting itself is dramatic and remote. The crew provide running commentary on behaviour and marine biology. Between sightings, you'll eat regularly: breakfast before departure, lunch mid-morning, afternoon snacks and tea. Bring motion sickness tablets if rough seas bother you; the journey is subject to weather cancellation.
