What to expect

Expect a mix of sailing, walking, and water time. The morning involves cruising through island passages to Whitehaven Beach, where you'll have beach time before tackling the Hill Inlet lookout walk (conditions permitting). The ascent is moderate with views worth the effort. After lunch, you'll gear up for snorkelling—the reef is accessible but requires solid swimming ability and confidence in deeper water. Bring a reasonable fitness level; you'll be climbing in and out of tenders, walking uneven terrain, and moving between boat decks. Humidity and heat are substantial, especially December through February.

Pack swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen, and protective clothing. Alcohol service begins at 10am. Snorkelling demands confident swimmers—no flotation aids available.
