What to expect
You'll spend roughly an hour in the saddle, moving through rolling green country with views toward the rainforest. The ride itself is relaxed rather than demanding, allowing you to take in the landscape. Before or after your trail time, you'll spend time at the working farm, where you can feed the resident animals up close. Bring water and wear layers; the subtropical climate can be warm, but shade under the trees offers relief. The total visit runs three hours including introductions, safety briefing, and farm time.
Good to know
Not suitable for pregnant women, those with spinal injuries, or people with cardiovascular concerns. Lunch and snacks aren't provided, so plan accordingly. The farm sits a short drive from Kuranda village, so factor in travel time to and from your accommodation.
