What to expect

You'll be collected by private vehicle and driven to the launch site before dawn. The balloon inflates as light breaks—a slow, deliberate process worth watching. Once airborne, you ascend gently to cruising altitude where the city unfolds below. Wind patterns dictate your route, so sightlines shift throughout the flight. The air is stillest in early morning, creating that signature smooth, quiet drift. Expect 45 minutes to an hour aloft, then a gradual descent and ground-level retrieval (weather-dependent).
