What to expect
You'll meet your guide at the launch point and get a brief safety run-through before pushing off into the harbour. The paddle out is steady and unrushed—no racing. You'll navigate the quieter arms of Middle Harbour, spotting rock ledges and small inlets. About halfway through, you'll beach the kayak on a secluded stretch and settle in with refreshments as the light shifts from gold to pink to deep blue. The return paddle feels different under fading light, more meditative. Bring a light layer; the breeze picks up as dusk arrives.
