What to expect
Day one kicks off with a cultural welcome and ceremony, followed by a guided river cruise where you'll scan the water for saltwater crocs and turtles. After lunch, you can either strap into a zipline rig above the rainforest or trade that for a reef snorkel depending on your choice. You'll bed down at the lodge that night. Day two involves breakfast, a return drive, and a stop for locally made ice cream before heading back to Port Douglas. The pace is relaxed but steady; expect walking, boat time, and if ziplining, some physical exertion.
