What to expect
Arrive at Goolwa Airport and gear up—the crew will walk you through everything. You'll board the aircraft with your instructor, climb to jump altitude, and exit the plane. The freefall lasts several minutes of pure adrenaline before the parachute deploys and you float down more gently, taking in the coastline. Landing happens back near the airfield. Expect a full morning or afternoon commitment, with the actual jump being surprisingly brief but intense.
Good to know
Minimum age 16, maximum weight 110kg. Not suitable if pregnant, recovering from spinal injury, or with serious heart conditions. Base fitness required but not elite athleticism. Photos and videos cost extra. APF membership not included. Wheelchair accessible facilities available.
