What to expect

You'll board at South Perth (08:00am weekdays, 09:15am Sundays) and taxi across the Swan River before takeoff. The flight offers unobstructed views from your seat as you head south towards Rottnest. Once landed on the island's waters, you'll disembark to spend your day swimming, walking beaches and spotting quokkas. The return flight departs at 4:45pm. Wind conditions on Rottnest can shift in the afternoon—if crosswinds exceed safe limits, you may instead fly back to Jandakot Airport inland. This is common and happens quickly, so plan flexibility into your island time.
