SKYRAIL CABLEWAY TRANSFER between Port Douglas & Skyrail (RETURN)

About this tour

Shared shuttle service connecting Port Douglas accommodation with Skyrail Smithfield Terminal, running scheduled pickups at 6am or 8am heading to the cableway, and return departures at 3:30pm or 5:30pm. The drive follows the coastal route through World Heritage–listed Wet Tropics rainforest. Skyrail admission tickets are separate. Minimum two adult fares required; child seats available for an additional fee.

What to expect

You'll be collected from your Port Douglas hotel at your nominated time and driven roughly an hour to Skyrail's Smithfield Terminal through rainforest scenery. Return shuttles depart the terminal in early afternoon or late afternoon, arriving back in Port Douglas. The service runs on a shared-van basis with other passengers. Booking requires advance notice of pickup times and any child seat needs. Outside standard hours (after 8pm or before 6am) and public holidays incur extra charges. Note that Skyrail admission is not included and must be purchased separately.

Good to know

Minimum two adults per booking. Child seats cost extra and must be arranged when booking. Prams and oversized items need pre-approval. No stops for shopping or room-key collection allowed. Cairns Central Railway Station pickups available for an additional $20 fee.
