About this tour

Get underwater at one of Sydney's reef sites on this three-hour introductory dive. You'll spend time in the water with a qualified instructor who'll walk you through the basics, then guide you through coral gardens teeming with fish. No prior experience needed—just be comfortable in the water and willing to try something unfamiliar. Gear, transport from the shop, and post-dive rinse facilities are all sorted.

What to expect

You'll meet at the shop, complete a medical questionnaire, and get a thorough briefing on equipment and safety before heading to the dive site. In the water, your instructor stays with you the whole time, keeping everything relaxed and manageable. You'll descend slowly, adjusting to the pressure, then explore the reef at a comfortable pace. Expect to spend around 30–40 minutes underwater depending on conditions. The shop will rinse your gear and you after you surface.

Good to know

Bring your own swimwear and any food or drinks you need. Don't fly within 24 hours of diving. You must be able to swim. Participants aged under 18 need a parent or guardian's written consent. Certain medical conditions (spinal issues, pregnancy, poor cardiovascular health) require medical clearance beforehand.
